Redemption's Nick Richards and Chris Riddle were introduced for commentary before PWI President William L. Cross entered with a house mic and introduced Adrian "Action" Jackson, who faces Arik Royal for the CWF Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship in the night's main event. Jackson entered and showed the fans and the PWI President that he was indeed ready for the challenge of the night's main event.

CWF GOLD RUSH kicked off with the Rising Generation League Title on the line with the popular "Cowboy" Kool Jay defending against the All Stars' TGA Moss. The All Star entourage remained out of the picture until Coach Gemini introduced a pair of brass knuckles into the bout behind the back of the referee. Moss made the most of the "golden opportunity" and took the title away from the fan favorite with a little help from his friends.

Two men entered next for a guaranteed spot in the 19th Annual CWF RUMBLE and it showed! The "Big Hurt of Professional Wrestling" DeAndre Jackson went to war against "All Business" James Bandy and the two heavyweights went tooth-and-nail from bell to bell. Jackson held court for most of the match but Bandy regained the momentum and took down his aggressive opponent via pinfall, earning the spot in the CWF RUMBLE on Oct. 5th.

Mike Mars was introduced next to challenge Snooty Foxx for the PWI Central Carolinas Championship in another battle of big men. The two beat each other as if money was owed with some fisticuffs and kicks added in for flavor. Foxx retains the title by pinfall in a powerful display of offense.

Donald J. BitDon and Khan O'Kelly entered with the house mic and spilled the beans that due to car trouble Billy Dixon was unable to make it to GOLD RUSH, leaving Chris Riddle searching for someone to represent him. Riddle surprised the house by presenting Cain Justice, with five minutes alone in the ring with Khan O'Kelly for Riddle if Justice wins on the line. The CEO showed some violence from his past and had a fire in his eye as he battled the popular Justice, eventually pinning him to keep his Marketing Director safe from Riddle, Who himself ended up face-down on the canvas with O'Kelly dancing around him.

Three-way CWF Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Title action was up next with Corruption's Dirty Daddy and Killa Koga battling Redemption's Michael McAllister and CWF Tag Champions Pineapple Express' Number Braaah and Buddy Flowers. A hard-hitting fast paced battle broke out with the tag champions starting out with a game of rock, paper, scissors. The combination of Pineapple and Redemption was almost able to completely neutralize the shady tactics of Corruption and everybody was in a position they had to wrestle. The champions displayed some cool teamwork and maintained a level of "chill" with Redemption en route to retaining the titles by pinfall. The champions then invited Redemption to join them for some fruity tropical and such after the event.

The All Stars arrived at the ring like a parade, with Jarry Carey, then Coach Gemini and finally CWF Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion "Ace" Arik Royal. Challenger Adrian "Action" Jackson entered and Gemini offered him a spot on the All Stars yet again before the bell sounded. Royal began trying to make the challenger doubt his own training and skills, but Jackson seemed over the course of the match to pass that test. Royal did eventually ding the challenger, leaving him unsure on his feet, and with the referee out cold on the ring apron Jarry Carey and Coach Gemini entered the ring, grabbing Jackson to set him up for a brass knuckles shot from Royal. Before Royal could deliver, Roy Wilkins interrupted and hit the ring on a mission. Adrian "Action" Jackson got his wits about him and signaled he was going to rack up Royal as Wilkins removed the referee's shirt and put it on himself. Jackson took Royal to the canvas, Wilkins made the count and called for the bell. The celebration began immediately with the ring filling with guys from the locker room and the new Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion got a ride around the ring on the shoulders of his friends.
