In-ring action at the 18th Annual cWF RUMBLE began after a melt-down between former tag champions Corruption during an interview with C.L. Party with PWI International Ultra-J Crown Champion Cam Carter defending his championship against the man who defeated him in the 2018 Johnny Weaver Memorial Tournament Finals, the "Southern Savoir" John Skyler. Skyler ran the ground and pound routine, keeping Carter off of the ropes and on the canvas for a majority of the match, but it took Carter getting some distance between himself and his challenger and a little air to turn the match and pin Skyler to retain his championship.
Donnie BitDon and Otto Wrestling Machine were out next to challenge the CWF Tag Team Champions Blazing Saddles' "Marshal" Michael McAllister and "Sheriff" Kool Jay. A predictable brawl ensued after "Marshal" McAllister's inner Fury showed itself early, but calmed down to a boiling rage as the challengers began working over the Sheriff in the ring even resorting to allowing second Khan O'Kelly to get involved from the floor. The champions got a late reprieve as the Sheriff finally tags in the Marshal who sets the BitDon team on the straight and narrow, but they refused to follow the referee's orders and the match was stopped by the referee and ruled as No Contest, with the champions retaining the titles by rule.
Advertised as CWF Double Crown Champion Trevor Lee defending the CWF Worldwide Television Championship against a Mystery Challenger, Lee stepped up upon learning the challenger was his friend Andrew Everett, and asked for the match to be changed to a no time limit CWF Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title bout, which was honored by the officials. A classic battle of skills and wills ensued with Trevor taking an advantage after doing some damage to the wrist and arm of Everett in the course of the match. Everett fired back up and went to the top ropes and showed his skills, but wasn't able to gain momentum to get the overall advantage in the fight. Trevor Lee wins the bout by pinfall and immediately thanks Andrew Everett for the match and they leave the ring area together.
The 18th Annual CWF RUMBLE main event kicked off with veteran Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride starting out against the 2016 Rumble Iron Man Ethan A. Sharpe. Number Man, Mace Li, Teddy Ireland Jr., Corporate Number Dad and Dirty Daddy entered and fights erupted around the ring. Lebron Kozone hit the ring with a flourish, the "Party Starter" Keith Mack wasn't able to get much more than a little shindig started when he was followed into the bout by Otto Wrestling Machine. All Star Arik Royal entered and lines started to be drawn as "Cowboy" Kool Jay, "El Fuego" Jesse Ortega, "Revolutionary" Darius Lockhart and "Marshal" Michael McAllister entered the battle. Eliminations were still few at this point as the crowd gasped at the surprise entry of Lee Valiant, "High Definition" Steve Green entered back-to-back. Cain Justice hit the ring and ninety seconds later the crowd lost it at the introduction of former heavyweight champion "Infamous Icon" Joey Silvia into the main event.
Cam Carter, Nick Richards and Roy Wilkins entered as only a handful of competitors were sent to the locker room followed by "the 1st" Ric Converse who finds Wilkins standing on the platform during his entrance. "Southern Savior" John Skyler entered, then Donnie BitDon, "Rampaging Beast" Aaron Biggs and Chet Sterling. Surprise entrant Kamakazi Kid entered to a roar, as did Snooty Foxx, followed by a hush when the 30th entrant Aric Andrews entered the ring. The battle raged and bodies began limping toward the locker rooms until only a handful of wrestlers were left.
With the final four of consisting of "Ace" Arik Royal, "Southern Savior" John Skyler, "Rampaging Beast" Aaron Biggs and Chet Sterling, Sterling hit the floor first, followed by a scheming Skyler, who turned on Arik Royal as he offered a short partnership in removing Biggs from the RUMBLE. Royal floored the Beast, but was unable to finish him off and get him over the top ropes, so the All Stars hit the ring en force to help finish the job. Biggs found himself being piled on and roared back to life with fire in his eyes, eliminating ALL of the already eliminated All Stars and even Coach Gemini himself before tossing "Ace" Arik Royal over the top ropes to win the 18th Annual CWF RUMBLE!
