On the heels of the first CWF FanCon, the 17th Annual CWF RUMBLE began with a ten-bell salute to our fallen friend Scott Eiland. Then it got busy fast as Dirty Daddy hit the ring to challenge CWF Rising Generation League Champion Cain Justice one last time for his title. The two competitors know each other well and have some serious friction between them, and when they collide, it can be explosive. The explosion was felt throughout the Rising Generation League, with Dirty Daddy winning the title from Justice by pinfall in the center of the ring.

Six-man tag team action was up next with the team of Ethan Alexander Sharpe, Dr. Daniel C. Rockingham and "the Prince of Broadway" Frankie Flynn taking on Ian Maxwell, KL3 and "Playboy" Bobby Ballentyne. A hard-hitting battle ensued with the unpopular Sharpe and Company taking the duke by a pinfall.

The Sandwich Squad was then introduced, to challenge the CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champion Dawson Brothers. The Dawsons entered through the back door, came up behind the Squad and clobbered Mecha Mercenary in the head with a steel chair before ever entering the ring. The Dawsons entered the ring and demanded the referee ring the bell and count out the Sandwich Squad. Aaron Biggs wasn't about to let that happen and hits the ring to take on the Dawsons by himself. Biggs put on a show, took a boatload of punishment but was never able to get an advantage over the Dawsons. Then Mecha, obviously still woozy, hits the apron and asks for a tag. He comes in legally and splashes Zane Dawson to the canvas but has a hard time following up. They collide again and with Dave Dawson and Biggs laying on the floor at ringside and neither man can answer the referee's ten-count. The bell is ordered and the Dawson Brothers retain the titles by rule.

Lee Valiant made his way into the arena with CWF Worldwide Television Champion Aric Andrews, who was not happy with his ring introduction. He dispactched Valiant to the locker room to fetch CL Party and made her introduce him again. Jesse Adler hit the ring like a rocket, the bell rang and ten seconds later Adler walked out of the arena as the brand new TV champion by pinfall. Andrews and Valiant were not pleased with this turn of events, to say the least.

With Golden Ticket holder Roy Wilkin's stipulations, CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Trevor Lee entered the 17th Annual CWF RUMBLE first, putting his belt on the line against 29 other competitors. Ric Converse entered second and the two battled until Dr. Rockingham entered. Frankie Flynn, Bellamy Koga and then Otto Schwanz entered and things got interesting. The good doctor was eliminated first, followed by Flynn, then Schwanz turned his attention to Converse and Lee. More men entered, a few more were eliminated before the eleventh entrant, Aric Andrews, hit the ring with Lee Valiant and attacked Trevor Lee. The faces of the competitors ebbed and flowed until the All Stars made their entrances, as #28, #29 and #30 per stipulation.

Wilkins donned Coach Gemini's brass knuckles and clobbered Trevor Lee in the forehead right in front of a referee, dropping him in the corner like a rock. Several CWF legends were involved in this year's RUMBLE, including the "Box Office Draw" Mikael Yamaha, "Assassin" Ray Kandrack and Kamakazi Kid, who all helped eliminate opponents before getting tossed over the top ropes themselves. The final four of the thirty worked down to #1 Trevor Lee, #21 Brad Attitude, #22 Chet Sterling and #24 Cain Justice and the champ quickly saw the Attitude eliminated, then his friend Sterling, leaving him alone in the ring with his student, Cain Justice.

Lee withstood more attacks by Justice but kept trying to get up, but Justice kept depositing him back on the canvas. They grappled and wore each other out even more rather than trying to eliminate each other, perhaps in a more defensive mode, for many minutes. Then something went off and Trevor Lee snapped back to life. Grabbing Cain Justice's arm, he pulled himself to his feet and the two went toe-to-toe for the remainder of the match. Trevor Lee eliminates Justice over the top ropes to the floor and drops to his knees exhausted. After some emotional words to the fans, the champion pulled himself up and exited the arena to a roar.
