A great group of wrestling fans assembled at the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium for CWF-RGL THE WARRIOR'S WAY and got loud at the introduction of the night's lead commentator Chris Riddle. The opening bout witnessed the entire Corruption group entering for Ethan Alexander Sharpe's scheduled singles match against newcomer Buddy Flowers. The fans immediately picked up on Flowers, chanting "Flower Power" for much of the bout, and the youngster went toe-to-toe with veteran Sharpe for a good ten minutes. However, it was the last couple of minutes that saw Sharpe turn the tides and take control, basically nailing that anchor punch uppercut, granting him a pinfall win.
One half of the CWF Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions, CEO Donald J. BitDon entered with the house mic and announced that there will be no title defenses until he and Otto Schwanz appear in the 3rd Annual Kernodle Brothers Tag Team Tournament. Pulling a page out of CWF's Weaver Cup history, BitDon also announced that they would be putting the Tag Team Titles on the line in EVERY match in the tournament in which they compete in.
Three teams entered for three-way one fall tag team action, starting with newcomers Danny Vegas and "Amish Outlaw" Hezikiah Hoskins followed by returning TGA Moss with newcomer Jamal the Titan and the team of PWI Central Carolinas Champion Snooty Foxx and newcomer Rocky Webster. All six men battled each other, including at one point seeing Vegas and Hoskins both tagged in at the same time in this rowdy tilt. TGA Moss and Jamal the Titan took the duke, winning by pinfall in this hard-hitting battle.
The masked Corporate Number Dad escorted out his #1 son the 2018 Model Number Man for singles action against the red-hot youngster Adrian "Action" Jackson in singles action. The two bulls went to battle with the Number Man continuing his family tradition of counting repetitive moves for the children at ringside as the tide of the battle flowed in his direction. Jackson withstood the flow of the tides and sent his opponent scurrying to the floor over a threat of the torture rack move minutes before catching the Number Man in it and winning by submission.
Cain Justice entered in street clothes, asked for a mic and called out Ethan Sharpe. Sharpe never showed, but TGA Moss did, asking for a match. Justice called for a referee and started taking off his street clothes accepting the challenge and the bell soon rang. Justice went into the classic torment mode, bending and stretching joints and contorting Moss on the canvas at different angles. Justice finally finished it off with a submission before exiting to locate the clothes he took off earlier.
CWF Rising Generation League Champion "Cowboy" Kool Jay was up next challenged for the title by the returning Steampunk Myzery. The Steampunk showed off even more skills in his offensive arsenal against the resilient Sheriff of CWF, hitting him high and low. Kool Jay maintained his cool and rode hard to get control of the match, taking down Myzery, who is showing more confidence in the ring at ever showing, by pinfall, leaving both men exhausted at the bell.
"Mr. Everything" Victor Andrews chose that moment to enter and demand that Kool Jay fight him. He stated up front he didn't care about the title, he just wanted to fight and the Cowboy did not back down a second, accepting immediately. The bell rang and Andrews took a moment before taking advantage of the already winded RGL champ, but soon went to the challenge of making sure Kool Jay never got his breath back. The duly-elected sheriff soon found himself not only worn down but limping in the ring when he brought the match off of the canvas and toe-to-toe. "Cowboy" Kool Jay was able to ride off into the sunset after a sudden pinfall win over the veteran Andrews.
Ethan Alexander Sharpe led his Corruption team of Dirty Daddy and Bellamy Koga to the ring for the main event qualifier match guaranteeing the winner entry into the 3rd Annual Kernodle Cup Tag Team Tournament. "TKO" Teddy Ireland Jr. entered alone, asked for the house mic and says he's been told this is his last chance to get into the Kernodle Tag Tournament and shocked everyone by introducing his last regular partner Ulysse "OPA" Demos, who has returned to the United States from his home in France. Before the bell could be rang Cain Justice's music sounds and the entrance lights up and running out of the entrance is Justice in street clothes with his back strapped across his back. He chased Ethan Sharpe out of the front door and neither returned for the duration of the main event.
The bell sounded and the somewhat familiar foes engaged in a slobber-knocker from start to finish with the Corruption team and TKOPA getting busy and taking everything personal. TKOPA pulled off some really good continuity and even broke out a new move on Dirty Daddy, the Double Soccer Kick. Corruption refused to back down, however and at one point Dirty Daddy connected with a vicious clothesline that evened the odds for both teams. TKOPA's ability to work as a team became the focus as both Ireland Jr. and Demos were able to hit a few impressive team moves to turn the tide for good and the pinfall win to guarantee their spot in the 3rd Annual Kernodle Brothers Tag Team Tournament in May.
